Our puppet triptych Malevolent Creatures is rooted in the folklore of the British Isles. This devised work explores ways that ancient stories and supernatural creatures continue to haunt us as we struggle with fears and changes in our world today.

We began working on Malevolent Creatures in the summer of 2014 and produced its final iteration in summer of 2019. In between we held workshops and presented different versions of the three core stories in 2016, 2017 and 2018 at The Kennedy Center’s Page to Stage Festival, Source Theater and GALA Hispanic Theatre.
